Emerge Programs

Emerge sponsors programs that provide Sri Lankan teenage mothers who have survived sexual abuse with the tools they need to become confident, respected, self-reliant members of society. Through the Bead Program these women use creativity to build self-worth, and earn a livelihood. Through the Village they gain strength and support from their community, and they learn to reach their potential through education, leadership development, and vocational training.
